Historically Sympathetic Restoration…

This exceptional, Grade I Listed, 18th Century building of historical merit underwent extensive specialist cleaning, repair and full redecoration of its external stone façades and internal alterations.

FItzrovia carried out intricate and complicated restoration works to the landmark coat of arms which overlooks the street from the high level stone cornice, as well as to the numerous stone decorative emblems which adorn the front façade of the building.

For the majority of the repairs, historically sympathetic materials were required. Further to this extensive repair was carried out to the window joinery, whilst the flat roof was repaired using a specialist roofing system. Internal works included purpose made joinery items, specialist lighting and an approved English Heritage painting scheme.
