The interiors were designed to an extremely high and tasteful standard, with contemporary bathrooms and German kitchens, scene lighting, walnut flooring and doors and bespoke joinery to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Fitzrovia were enlisted to design, source and specify many of the internal finishes including the feature walnut staircase and minimalistic balustrade. All of the finishes were chosen to complement the existing historical features of the property.
Of importance within the design and specification of the job was to work to the Code for Sustainable Homes Standard. In order to meet these requirements, Fitzrovia installed air source heat pumps, Solar water cells and associated boilers, a green roof and water saving fixtures and fittings.
